Hannah is pretty much back to her normal self, no puking at eating again-which is great to see....
Potty training starts again next week, wish us luck....
This started off as a blog purely about my daughter Hannah (and all our family's) struggle with her Autism. The blog stalled after a few weeks, in early 2011, due various reasons, mainly Life in general! I've decided to restart it, but to include my thoughts on other "stuff" hence the new title (and due to my lack of imagination!)

Hannah is not well today, she is all pale and pasty and she has been sick, and is off her food, so half term started today for her.
Hope she feels better in the morning.....

Wed 16th Feb
Toilet training at school has been officially been abandoned until after half term.
We'll try and get going with it at home next week and start fresh the next week!
Received some good news today, the L.A education officer has approved me taking Hannah out of school for half a day once a week, to do some son-rise time in her room!!
Just need to work out the best time for us, that won't disrupt Hannah.

Someone in the USA and Singapore has apparently looked at this blog-wonder who that was-please reveal yourself?!
Mon 14th Feb
Well, no card, big bunch of flowers or chocolates, just back to doing the school run!!
Sorry to Kingfisher staff, for completly undoing the toilet training you've been doing for the last few months, as Hannah has been back in nappies whilst we were at Center parcs!!
Hannah wet herself a record 4 times and came out of school wearing clothes that I'm sure a jumble sale would reject-bless her!

You Tube videos
Ive added the YouTube feature, but I couldn't work out how to not include my 3 legged cat Bagheera getting a bit too friendly with a toy Lion!
I'm hoping that there are only three videos, the aforementioned one and two of Hannah, eating Beans and Cheerios (not together!) with a spoon for the first time!
It may not seem much, but it was quite an acheivement at the time....!

Holiday
We have just returned from a short break at Center parcs at Longleat in Wiltshire.
Hannah particularly enjoyed the subtropical swimming paradise, which has flumes, slides, as well as waves every 30 minutes, in the main pool.

Still getting to grips with this blog!
I've set this up on my iPad so I can't put pictures on it, so it looks pretty bare at the moment, hopefully it will look better soon!
About Hannah
Hannah is 5 years old, born in November 2005, sister to Chloe and daughter to Pauline and Dave.
Hannah was diagnosed as severely Autistic in June 2008, after initially being taken to the G.P just before her 2nd birthday as she wasn't speaking and she would get very stressed out in "new" situations.
Hannah has attended a special school, Kingfisher in Abingdon, since October 2008, she has been full-time since September 2010.
Hannah loves school, particularly the weekly swimming session she has there, at the on-site pool.
After attending the Son-Rise Start up program in London 2011, I'm hoping to run a Son-Rise program with Hannah-initially part time.
I'd like to use this blog to talk to other parents and carer's, to swap ideas and thoughts, etc.
